I first came in contact with the Gospel of Jesus Christ during the summer of 1983 as a 16 year old. My life would never be the same.
Praise God, I had ears to hear and a heart that was opened to the Truth. I finally was born again and baptized after living 16 years as a Catholic.
In 1985, I graduated from high school and went off to the US Air Force Academy. I maintained my faith during my last years in high school and all during college. In 1989 I graduated, was commissioned as an officer, got married, and was sent off to pilot training.
A year later, I completed pilot training and was assigned to fly the C-130 cargo plane. It was during this time of transition that my faith as a Christian began to slide.
I had finally reached my childhood dream of becoming a pilot and everything else dropped in priority. In 1990, I was assigned to Dyess AFB (Abilene), Texas. It was here that my 10 years of spiritual darkness began.
Before I knew it, I was just like everyone else and completely immersed in the world. I soon realized I had become the typical "Prodigal Son" but wasn't quite ready to come home just yet.
In 1993, my wife gave birth to the first of two children. I've been blessed with a wonderful and patient wife who's delivered two wonderful children both a girl and a boy.
Reassignment time came and I was picked up for a Spanish Exchange assignment to Zaragoza, Spain as a Spanish C-130 Pilot. The entire family packed up and moved overseas for 2 years. We became totally immersed into the Spanish culture and way of life.
During these 2 years I became heavily involved with day trading where it totally consumed my life after work. The strain on the family and marriage began to take it's told as the spirit of greed had complete control of my existence.
After two years in Spain we returned to the US as I transferred to the Air National Guard doing the same line of work. It was during this time, that the voice of God once began to grow louder from within me to come home. Fortunately, our merciful and patient Lord sent a brother who rebuked me out of love for saying I was a Christian, but was one by name only.
I finally repented and rededicated my life totally to the Lord for the last time in 2000. I've been on fire ever since and started to read and listen to everything that would build my faith.
Eventually, I began to collect many testimonies and material that kept my personal revival ongoing. I soon felt led by the Holy Spirit to burn CDs with various messages in order to distribute them to family and friends. After a while, the Lord began to lead me in to handing out CDs to everyone.
Over a course of months and a few years, the Lord began to further lead me in burning various CD tracts that were compiled with the lost in mind. I often asked myself, "What type of material would it take for a non-believer to listen to and be converted?"
It's my sincerest prayer that souls would be touched, shaken, and saved after they listen to these anointed messages and testimonies. God's word will simply not return void.
Isaiah 55:11- "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which it was sent."
The Free CD Tract Ministry was started in 2002 largely because the Lord placed such a burden in my heart for the lost. We simply must do all we can to save those who are perishing.
